Wanderer

As I walk through this valley, I worry about things constantly. Footsteps I hear afar, I walk along this road, a noise, guitar. A weary bard lost on his way, Sad for none of his normal pay, Cheery for his new tune, And the thought of being home soon.
Always I will wander, A life I'm left to ponder. Why? Why has my life been taken away? I reach this empty quay. No boats, no sailors, no payers. On the street, no kids, no players. Doomed I am, to walk to no avail, I walk through this shadow, to the end of my tale.
